    Dear Mr. Hemming,

Fascinated by the story of Geoffrey Pyke. Met Magnus Pyke on occasion but had no inkling of his brother’s story.

Along with David Wardell, I am involved in a new website called ‘Inventricity’ intended to support inventors and innovators. We include a great deal of historical and retrospective material and I wonder if you might be able to contribute a brief bio of Geoffrey Pyke to the material already included in our ‘Local Heroes’ section. I’m sure Alan Hart Davis would welcome yet another addition to his list of ‘lost’ British inventors. Your contribution would of course be acknowledged and it may well add to the sales of your book.

Please let me know if you are able to agree.

    Dr. Barrie Blake-Coleman
